The terms of the beta

1 · What this is

LeaderGYM™ is pre-release software: an AI leadership coach and a record of what you decided and what came of it. These terms cover your part in its public beta. It is offered as it is; it will change without notice; it may be paused, reset or ended. Nothing here promises a commercial version, or continued access if one comes.

The beta is capped at fifty people and is free for three months from your first session. After that, the price shown at the door applies, and you will be asked before you are ever charged — nothing is taken without a separate, explicit yes. The first fifty keep a founding rate for a year.

2 · What LeaderGYM is, and is not

LeaderGYM is an AI. It draws on a body of leadership principles and tools, and on what you tell it, to help you think through and practise real situations. It can be wrong, incomplete, or beside the point for your case. You decide what you do, and you are responsible for what you decide.

It is not therapy or mental-health care, and not medical, legal, tax, accounting, investment or financial advice. It is not a substitute for a qualified professional or for your own judgement, and you agree not to treat it as one. If you are in acute distress, it will stop coaching and point you to a person; in Canada, 9-8-8 by call or text.

3 · Who may take part

Adults, nineteen and over, in Canada (outside Quebec) and the United States, for this beta. Not people who work in financial services, and not people at the employer of the person who builds LeaderGYM — a standing rule of the people who build it, and not a judgement of you. One account per person, for your own professional development, with your own sign-in. No shared logins, no accounts on someone else’s behalf, no automated access.

4 · Your words, your record

What you type or say into LeaderGYM is yours. You give Stroescu Studio permission to use it to run LeaderGYM for you — to keep your record, to remember your situations between sessions, and to coach you from them. That is all, unless you turn on sharing yourself: sharing is off by default, and what it would share is described on the privacy page. Your record is exportable and deletable, in full, from that page, at any time.

Do not put into LeaderGYM what you have no right to share: your employer’s confidential information, or other people’s personal details beyond what you need to describe your own situation. Describe situations; you do not need names.

5 · Keep the beta between us

Unreleased features, prices, the coach’s own material and the way it works are confidential while this is a beta. Saying “I am testing an AI coaching tool” is fine; screenshots of the coach’s material, transcripts of its own words, and descriptions of unreleased features outside the beta are not. This lasts two years after the beta ends. In return, Stroescu Studio keeps who you are and what you said confidential, as the privacy page describes, except where the law requires otherwise.

6 · Feedback, and what stays ours

If you tell us what to fix or what to build, we may use it without owing you anything — that is part of why the beta is free. The principles, tools, prompts, software and everything that makes LeaderGYM work remain Stroescu Studio’s. Your account gives you a personal, revocable right to use it; it does not give you the right to copy or reconstruct its material, to probe or jailbreak the coach for its instructions, or to build a competing product from it.

7 · Limits

LeaderGYM is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the fullest extent the law allows, Stroescu Studio’s total liability to you in connection with the beta is limited to the amount you paid for it — during the free period, nothing — and neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that cannot lawfully be limited. There is no arbitration clause and no class-action waiver here.

8 · Leaving, and being asked to leave

You can leave any day: export, then delete, from the privacy page — no message required. We may suspend or remove an account at our discretion, including for capacity or safety. If the beta ends, you will hear it from us first, with at least fourteen days in which the export still works; after that your records are deleted, not kept.

9 · The rest

These terms and the privacy page are the whole agreement. Ontario law, and the federal laws of Canada that apply in it, govern them. We may change these terms with notice; the version number at the top moves when the words do, and your consent record keeps which version you accepted. We may assign this agreement to a successor company that takes over LeaderGYM; you may not assign your seat. If one line of this is unenforceable, the rest stands.
